This LSM was very special. There was much to celebrate - Dennis Ham, San Joaquin Valley Trikker and So Cal Carver, was celebrating 366 consecutive days of Trikking and his streak continues! Rich Goff, So Cal Carver was presented his 45th Anniversary Gift by his wife, Charlene. It was a Custom T-12 Built by SouthBay Trikke. It was also the closing ceremony for a month long show of Appreciation for some guy y'all call "Mister LSM". Douglass Weymouth, a Santa Cruz Trikke Trainer, tied in His Wheelie Contest with the events Fundraiser, to really blow things up!
I'd like to thank Elise Bennett, The creator of the Trikke Universe Website, for "secretly" developing this event with Trikke Andy of SouthBay Trikke, Debbie Bumgardner, Jeri Thompson, John Simpson, and Ann Pirone. This was a great idea to promote the "Trikke "Trikkes for KKids" fundraiser and help support the great work being done by Shannon and Kenny Houston of Vegas Valley Trikke.
Thanks to Douglass Weymouth and the Carving Community, the event was able to raise $3841.76. From what I hear I think it worked out to 20 new CV's and Safety Gear for the KKids (don't hold me to that). And you're welcomed to sign up and join us at the Last Academy of the Year in Las Vegas when they'll be presenting these Trikkes to Shannon and Kenny!
