With a few days to go before the Last Saturday and Sunday of November , here's the October LSM Recap.
With November coming up (I can't believe I'm going miss our group ride) It will mark the LSM Movement's Fourth Anniversary. I'll have more on this in an upcoming story.
In the meantime, I hope you're all planning on stepping up this weekend. Being a Holiday Weekend, I know how difficult this may be. August 2014 LSM Recap

Double Dub Checking in ...

This LSM was very special. There was much to celebrate - Dennis Ham, San Joaquin Valley Trikker and So Cal Carver, was celebrating 366 consecutive days of Trikking and his streak continues! Rich Goff, So Cal Carver was presented his 45th Anniversary Gift by his wife, Charlene. It was a Custom T-12 Built by SouthBay Trikke. It was also the closing ceremony for a month long show of Appreciation for some guy y'all call "Mister LSM". Douglass Weymouth, a Santa Cruz Trikke Trainer, tied in His Wheelie Contest with the events Fundraiser, to really blow things up!

I'd like to thank Elise Bennett, The creator of the Trikke Universe Website, for "secretly" developing this event with Trikke Andy of SouthBay Trikke, Debbie Bumgardner, Jeri Thompson, John Simpson, and Ann Pirone. This was a great idea to promote the "Trikke "Trikkes for KKids" fundraiser and help support the great work being done by Shannon and Kenny Houston of Vegas Valley Trikke.

Thanks to Douglass Weymouth and the Carving Community, the event was able to raise $3841.76. From what I hear I think it worked out to 20 new CV's and Safety Gear for the KKids (don't hold me to that). And you're welcomed to sign up and join us at the Last Academy of the Year in Las Vegas when they'll be presenting these Trikkes to Shannon and Kenny!

Thanks for "Stepping Up" for the LSM. Let's keep it moving!

Lots going on!  It's another roll over month for the "It's All about the LSM" Photo Share Giveaway. It's becoming quite a prize package. Thanks to those who are sharing their "LSM"!
This is also a special month.Vegas Valley Trikke is having a fundraiser "Trikkes for KKids" ! Please Click on the links to discover what it's about and Donate. Trikke Tech (John Simpson and Gildo Beleski) have donated two Carving Vehicles and SouthBay Trikke has donated one. Along with this, Trikke Tech has reduced their pricing to help support this fundraiser. SouthBay Trikke has pledged to assemble and ship all the Carving vehicles and safety gear at their cost. Donation collections is being managed by Trikke Academy (Ann Pirone and Fred Welch).

Truth be told the month also serves another purpose. Here's a look at how this unrolled.

June 2014 LSM Recap

I cannot begin to share with you how happy I am with this months recap. I am seeing a lot of "old school" names returning and stepping back up. I see few first time LSM'ers. And I am seeing many new locations. It's Summer! I hope everyone is enjoying fair weather
I didn't speak much of it here but the So Cal Fantasy Week was an awesome good time! Next year's week, I believe, is being planned. June 7th should mark the start of the week with the "Ladyhawke Aliso Creek Hill Climb Challenge". the rides may stay the same as they were this year. And to complete the fun, we'll converge on Ventura and celebrate with a "Carb Load" dinner before we set our goal. On June 13th, the Trikkenut Endurance Series 100K ! I'm sure we'll hear more and I most certainly hope,you'll consider making plans to join us. 

Anyways, here's to all who joined in and Stepped Up for June! Thank You!

2014 May LSM Recap

Double Dub Checking in ... (finally)

Who went trikking? Good to hear the Community's abuzz with activity. Brion in Cincinnati formed a new group - Tri-State Carvers and is fresh out of the Trikke Academy in Branson, MO. To celebrate, his LSM was a family affair with his wife, Daughter in law, and two grand kids.

 Trikke Riders of Pennsylvania join with the Trikke Riders of Delaware for May. Vegas Valley Trikke held a cook-out to start their ride. Nature Carvers and NE Texas Trikkers seem to be steadily growing. Our International rides seem to have fallen off a little but hope to see their return next month. Being a Spilt Weekend, a few multiple rides were had.
Wanted to give honorable mentions to Gert Nagtegaal of Holland and Bj Viers of First Coast Trikkes. they couldn't make the LSM but checked in anyways. Thank You!

April LSM 2014 Report

Double Dub checking in . . .

This was a very trying time for me personally. Yet, with a lot of help from the Carving Community, The April LSM recap is here! Thanks to a very special group - Shelly Hage of the Phoenix Trikke Riders, Bruce Weston of the Michigan Carvers, Rich Goff of the So Cal Carvers, Andy Pliska of SouthBay Trikke and the So Cal Carvers, and possibly others unknown to me, we have this awesome report! Thanks for the love and support. A locations listing may be coming later. Until then, I hope you enjoy this report from Shelly Hage.

Wow, what an amazing month of LSM rides - Trikkers stepping up to share the passion and photographic creativity with new friends and old, all across the globe. Due to inclement weather, not as many carvers were able to get as had originally planned. On a happier note, for several locations it was their first LSM of 2014.

Some highlights from April 2014 LSM survey comments:

>Trikke Riders of Pennsylvania had a record 13 riders. Way to go Jamie and all of the Trikke Riders of Pennsylvania!
>Vegas Valley Trikke combined their LSM with a fundraiser for the local chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America, NV Chapter. Thank you Vegas Valley Trikke for connecting Trikke with your local community in so many meaningful ways!
>Mytrikke.com shared the passion, some wild blackberries, and a great ride with a differently-abled man who really loves to ride. Cajun Chad thanks for cultivating and sharing feel-good Trikke experiences!
